Reliance Risk has been partnering with the Mother’s Day Classic Foundation since 2020, providing event risk and emergency management consultancy services for the Mother’s Day Classic, a national event that raises funds for breast cancer research.
The 2023 event, which took place on Sunday 14 May, saw 73 event locations across each of the states and territories welcome over 65,000 participants to walk or run their course on Mother’s Day morning.
Senior Risk Consultant, Adam Barnes, led this project for Reliance Risk, providing risk management advice to the MDCF senior management team and Board, developing Event Risk Assessments and Risk Management Plans, and facilitating a number of Incident and Emergency Management Workshops.
Reliance Risk is proud to work closely with the Mother’s Day Classic Foundation team, assisting with planning a complex suite of events that contributes significantly to the lives of so many Australians.
