As a recognised industry expert in risk management across the sport, entertainment, venues and events industries, Wayne brings 35+ years of experience managing public venues and major events. He has also worked as a risk management specialist for various government, transport, and construction companies, venues, sporting facilities, and major events. 

Wayne holds a Masters in Risk Management, a Bachelor of Administration and a Diploma in Security Risk Management. In 2014, he became a Certified Venue Executive (CVE), a highly regarded level of achievement in the venues industry awarded by the International Association of Venue Managers.

As an internationally recognised speaker, instructor and thought leader in risk management for events, sports and venues, Wayne has also been a risk management instructor at the Venue Management School (VMS) in APAC for over a decade. He is the Chair of the Institute of Venue Safety & Security (IVSS), run by the Venue Management Association, a past Chairman of the VMS Committee and is also a guest faculty instructor with the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) Academy of Venue Safety & Security.

Wayne is licenced to operate as a Security Consultant in NSW, Victoria, Queensland, WA and New Zealand.
